to attend one of the top React conferences in the world: Reactathon. Held in San Francisco since 2017, the event returns on May 2 - 5, 2022 at a beautiful outdoor venue in the East Bay. They have very strict safety requirements (full vaccination + negative test required for all attendees, daily temperature checks, event is completely outdoors). I will not only learn practical lessons to implement back at work, but this will also be a big morale boost to improve my overall well-being.

Reactathon is a deeply technical conference where some of the best frontend engineers in the world take the stage to present various topics that drive our industry forward. This year, I'm especially excited to learn from Kent C. Dodds (one of the top educators in the world of React), Lydia Hallie (a savant engineer with communication skills to match), Ryan Florence (co-creator of React Router and Remix), and Jenn Creighton (a talented senior engineer at Netflix).
